Titanic Poster

A Wentworth puzzle laser-cut from wood composition but before the green boxes were phased out in the late 2000's and depicting a poster drawn by Montague Birrell Black. He was an eminent artist, designer and illustrator, particularly specialising in transportation.

The Olympic entered service in June 1911 and the Titanic's maiden voyage was due in early 1912 so the poster must date to 1911. It shows an unnamed White Star liner with two sailing vessels and this example features Thomas Cook, however the design was used for other travel agents.

The puzzle contains whimsies of civilian and military transportation, including a penny-farthing bicycle.
