Not a Bite

Very thick plywood interlocking jigsaw puzzle, probably dating from c1920-1930 which uses a very sweet painting by an artist whose signature look akin to Margaret Tougheed. Please let me know if you are able to give me a correct name as I have drawn a blank.
The puzzle includes four Whimsies and comes in the usual paper-covered box with hinged lid and no guide picture.
