Concours Hippique
Cleverly cut 600 piece Royal Vera puzzle from a painting by Donald Greig. The accurate colour line-cutting makes assembly quite challenging, and the style of cutting in the sky is very effective.
I am advised by my learned friend Jacques, that the price label on the box is in NF, or nouveaux francs, a term of currency only used during the period 1960-1963, so presumably this was the time of manufacture.
See also the Royal puzzle
Le saut de l'obstacle, another very similarly themed puzzle.
