Water Nymphs

Small semi-interlocking plywood jigsaw puzzle, colour line cut around the main subject areas and supplied in a square box with lift-off lid, no guide picture and hand-written side label.

The painting, by the British artist John William Waterhouse (1849-1917), carries the full title of "Hylas and the Nymphs" and was painted in 1896. This title appears to have been added to the label which originally called it simply "Water Nymphs".
