Queer Chicks

Around 1950 the well-known children's author Enid Blyton wrote a series of "Nature Readers" for which the artist Eileen Soper provided posters to be displayed in schools and libraries.

This puzzle was cut by R. Sawbridge from subject no. 20 titled "The Very Queer Chicks". It has been common farming practice to use hens to brood duck eggs as they are better mothers, however this causes great confusion when the ducklings take to the water!

It has been line-cut with many internal straight edges and all pieces are push-fit with no interlocking..
