Stave

Stave Puzzles Inc. was founded in 1974 by Steve Richardson and Dave Tibbetts and continues to manufacture wooden jigsaws under the brand name "Stave". Based in Norwich, Vermont they are the largest American producer of hand-cut puzzles.

In addition to conventional products they specialise in "Tormentor", Teaser" and "Trick" puzzles. No guide pictures are supplied and pictures of fully completed puzzles are not published to avoid giving away the solution".

A few examples are illustrated to indicate what one can expect.

They come in deep, square blue and green boxes and are hand-cut from 5-ply wood.
