Gathering Manna

A jigsaw cut by Eric Bond depicting a work by Italian artist Bernardino Luini titled "Gathering Manna". This was original part of a fresco in the Villa Labia alla Pelluca created around 1520. It was later transferred to canvas and is now in the Pinotecha di Brera Art Gallery in Milan.

This puzzle is thought to have been cut for the British Jigsaw Puzzle Library but not actually lent out. It is fully push-fit and has been skilfully line-cut. It come in a plain brown box, very likely not the original one, with a reference no "B3".
