Two Copies of Maria Beer

Two copies Maria Beer by Klimt were commissioned in spring 2015 from a calendar print. Nicki’s was cut in April 2015, with 465pc whilst Jackie’s may have been the first one cut with 452pc. Jackie asked Rob to cut as many pieces as he could from the print, measuring 11.3 x 14.8in, and to cut it in a push fit style along colour-line boundaries. The jigsaw is well line-cut but includes some tabs across colour boundaries to make it semi-interlocking. Rob has only included a heart and his signature R whimsy, leaving out his dog Rufus. Nicki’s jigsaw was no228 in her Rob Garner Collection and is a very similar cut.
